HOW TO GAIN INFORMATION ON EACH NEVADA INMATE
- Visit the Nevada Department of Correctional Services (DCS). The Dept of Correctional Services offers an inmate information locator, whereby inmate searches can be performed by name or DCS identification number. The records produced include name, inmate number, race, location, offense, sentence length, release date, parole board review date, and inmate photo when available. You may search for inmates supervised by the DCS (State Prison Inmates).

- If the county does not offer online access or if you cannot locate a Nevada jail inmate this way, you may contact the appropriate sheriff’s office or county correctional facility to obtain the records in person, by mail, or by phone.
