Montana Prison Inmates

HOW TO GAIN INFORMATION ON EACH MONTANA PRISONER

Visit the Montana Correctional Offender Network Search. The CONWEB service searches for the records of convicted felons in the state of Montana. There are two different ways to search for someone in the CONWEB database:

  1. Department of Corrections Identification Number (most specific results).
  2. Filling in either the first and/or last name, plus any physical description attributes.

The inmate records produced include name, inmate number, race, location, offense, length of sentence, and inmate photo. For further information you may visit the Montana Department of Corrections website.

To locate Montana Inmates within County and/or City Jails you have to contact the appropriate County Sheriff. Offender Records managed by the County Sheriff can be obtained in person, by mail, or by phone. However, at this time, not every Montana county do offer access to their inmate records. To obtain contact information of county sheriffs and county correctional facilities you may visit this directory of official Montana state, county, and city government websites.

If you cannot locate a Montana inmate this way, you may search for Montana County Inmates by Vinelink.
